Mr. James Gordon Bonner, Jr., 58, of Grenada, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born October 3, 1959 in Grenada to James Gordon, Sr. and Ruby Irene Fox Bonner. He was a retired truck driver and served many years on the Gore Springs Volunteer Fire Department.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 4, 2017 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Bro. Paul Barrow officiating. Interment will follow in the Elliott Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Saturday at McKibben and Guinn.
Survivors include his daughter, Jessica Ulland (Otto) of Grenada; one son, Erik Bonner (Robbie) of Grenada; two sisters, Gail Peters and Teresa Fansler of Grenada; one brother, Billy Bonner of Grenada and three grandchildren, Cody Bonner, Jody Bonner and Addison Wade.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Gordon Bonner Sr. and Ruby Irene Fox Adams; and his wife, Rosemary Bennett Bonner.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Bennett, Raven Bennett, Richard Bennett, Cody Bonner, Erik Bonner and Jody Bonner.
