Mr. James Douglas Miller, 65, of Carroll County, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024 at his residence.  He was born June 14, 1959 in Greenwood to Millard Wayne Miller and Mary Jean Albritton Dean.  Jamie spent most of his working life as a small engine repairman and was very gifted in his trade.  He also served in the US Army.  He was a fun-loving person and possessed a deep love for Dr. Pepper.  Jamie was also a skilled conversationalist and could argue better than most attorneys.He was a family man and would take in anyone who was friends of his children and call them his own. He always made friends wherever he was.  While his sudden passing leaves a hole in the hearts of those who loved him, we will strive to keep his memory alive and treasure all the good times we had together.

A time of remembrance will be observed from 1:00 – 3:00 PM Friday, November 1, 2024 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service.  Family and friends are encouraged to come and join in a time of sharing stories and fond memories of his treasured life.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Miller; mother, Mary Jean Dean; daughters, Charlottee Miller(Clayson), MaKayla Miller(John), Toni Stokes, Betty Gammill (Michael Gammill) and Josie Rogers(Kristin); sons, James Michael Miller, Matthew Miller and Daniel Miller; brothers, Jimmy Miller(Barbara), Tim White(Kim), Luke Marien(Carianne), Steven Miller(Tasha), Scott Miller and Jeremy Miller and nine grandchildren, Zackery & Tracy Diane Klauk, Joanna Rone, Mandy Rone, Ellianna Stokes, Levi Stokes, Trinity Stokes, Ezekiel Gammill and Elijah Gammill.

Jamie is preceded in death by his father and wife, Tracy Diane Miller.
