Mr. James Lewis Morrow, Sr., 86, of Duck Hill, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford. He was born December 9, 1928 in Grenada to Fred and Pearl Curington Morrow. He was a retired farmer, member of Elliott Church of Christ and a WWII and Korean Conflict Army Veteran.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, April 10, 2015 from the Chapel of McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Bro. Steve Hentz and Bro. Ken Salley officiating. Interment will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery near Duck Hill. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday evening and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Jean Fowler Morrow; two daughters, Joyce M. Stephens of Grenada and Rhonda Grace Boyle and her husband, Steve of Duck Hill; two sons, James Lewis "Jimmy" Morrow, Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth of Duck Hill and Hollis Ours Morrow of Grenada; ten grandchildren, Linda Smith, Jason Boyle (Jessica), Wesley Collins (Frances), Lee Adam Boyle, Chasity Hood (Bob), Rachel Morrow, Brandi Morrow, Grayson Morrow, Kayla Massey, Megan Massey and Amanda Baker; ten great-grandchildren, Chandler Smith, Savannah Smith, Hallie Marie Boyle, Tyler Perkins Boyle, Kolby Boyle, Rylan Morrow, Jake Hood, Chase Collins, Wyatt Morrow, Talon Hood, Madison Baker, Hannah Baker and Walker Baker. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Jason Boyle, Lee Adam Boyle, Wesley Collins, Grayson Morrow, Keith McGee and Ronnie Worsham. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jesse Fowler, Hal Fowler, Mack Hoop, Jack McRee, Charles Norris, Sonny Pyron and Curt Waite.
