James Earl Turner, 52, of Bryant AR, formerly of Grenada passed away at his residence Thursday, November 8, 2018. He was born September 7, 1966 to Joe and Dot Turner. James Earl grew up in Grenada and was a 1984 Grenada High School graduate where he played French Horn in the band. After Graduation he attended Ole Miss where he studied business. He served as music director for Enon Baptist Church in Grenada. James worked for Personal Finance, Cellular one and Verizon whom he moved with to AR. He was currently a member of Park Place Baptist Church in Bryant, AR. James was currently employed with Scott Family Dentistry in Benton AR.
Family was James Earl's priority. His favorite pastime was fellowshipping with friends and family. He so enjoyed traveling across the country watching his son JT play ball. We will miss his infectious smile and contagious laugh as well as great character and integrity as a person.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until service time Saturday at the church.
He is survived by his wife Monica Westmoreland Turner, two daughters, Krystian Turner of Grenada and Heather Turner Humphries(Dennis) of Bryant AR , two sons Cameron Turner(Brooke) of Grenada and Joshua Turner of Bryant AR, grandson Clayton Turner, his mother Dot Turner of Grenada and one sister Brenda Renee Williamson of Charleston.
He was preceded in death by his father Joe Turner.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Aldridge, Josh Campbell, Michael Parker, Bradley Williamson, Christopher Williamson and Harvey Williamson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chuck Miles, Jimmy Perry and Robert Simmons.
