Mr. James Gayle Wilborn, 73, of Grenada, passed away Friday, December 3, 2021 at his residence.  He was born June 19, 1948 in Jackson to Floyd Gayle, Jr. and Emma Catherine Shaver Wilborn.  James enjoyed a long, successful career with Mutual of Omaha and was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Omaha, NE.  He was an avid golfer and duck hunter and was a devoted Ole Miss Rebel.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, December 6, 2021 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Dr. Jim Nunnelee officiating.  Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park.  Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Monday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include his wife, Katie Wilborn; one son, Christopher Robin Wilborn of Madisonville, LA; one sister, Carolyn Mayhan(Mark) of Grenada; and two granddaughters, Mia Ann Wilborn and Ava Layne Wilborn.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
