Mr. Jason Clarence Jordan, Jr., 84, of Coffeeville, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center - Grenada. He was born February 27, 1932 at Scobey to Jason Clarence, Sr. and Macel Jennings Jordan. He attended Mississippi State University, was a US Army Veteran and was a member of the Coffeeville United Methodist Church. He was a retired Licensed Professional Surveyor.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Coffeeville United Methodist Church with Rev. Stacy Douglas and Rev. Keith Burney officiating. Interment will follow in the Scobey Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until service time Friday at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Hooper Jordan; two sons, James E. Jordan (Darla) of Iowa Park, TX and Jason C. "Trey" Jordan, III (Teresa) of Water Valley; one daughter, Janinne Winstel (Bob) of Fullerton, CA; three sisters, Joyce Martin of Oxford, Dot Gilchrist (George) of Coldwater and Celeste Jordan of Oxford; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
