Mr. Jesse Bradley "J.B." Massey, 84, of Oakland, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada. He was born September 7, 1934 in Grenada to James Arthur, Sr. and Floy Jane Craig Massey. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Oakland United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Clay Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery near Tillatoba. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Wednesday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Frances Galloway Keathley and Mary Glynne Massey of Memphis, TN; his nieces and nephews, Craig Galloway, Cindy Galloway Merritt, Jeffrey W. Massey and Leigh Anne Massey Murray, all of Memphis; James A. Massey, III of Edmond, OK; C. Michael Massey of St Louis, MO; Margaret Jane Beaty and Dudley C. Beaty of Bennettsville, SC and Melissa Joye of Mt. Pleasant, SC.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Billie Jane Beaty and two brothers, Charles Galloway and James Arthur Massey, Jr.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to friends who lovingly saw to the care of J.B., especially Tommie Hill and family and Mark Mattox and family.
