Mrs. Jean Hill Parker, 74, of Holcomb, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada.  She was born June 11, 1950 in Grenada to W.T. and Frances Manley Hill.  Jean had worked in management in the restaurant business.  She took pride in saying she had raised half of Holcomb and always made her home a welcoming place for those who had a need.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 18, 2025 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Rev. Kevin Tribble officiating.

Survivors include her daughter, Amy Vance of Olive Branch; son, Chuck Parker(Miranda) of Holcomb; niece that she loved like a daughter, Kristy Hardin-Peῆa of Holcomb; two sisters, Lynda McCalop of Holcomb and Carol Holland of Tillatoba; one brother, Billy Hill of Duck Hill; seven grandchildren, Kalee, Allie, Summer, Katelyn, Presley, Journee and Evan; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harris Parker; son-in-law, Kenneth Vance and a sister, Debra Hardin.
