Mrs. Jeanette Brown Williams, 71, of Holcomb, formerly of Clarksdale, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015 at her residence. She was born February 18, 1943 in Pascagoula to Sayles Laverne and Gertrude Ellis Brown. She was a retired store clerk and a member of Holcomb Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 2, 2016 from the Chapel of McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Rev. Kevin Tribble officiating. Interment will follow in the Holcomb Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, John "Abe" Williams, Sr.; three sons, John Williams, Jr. and his wife, Susan, Jeff Williams and his wife, Susan and Jerry Williams and his wife, Lisa all of Holcomb; two sisters, Paulette Maddox of Spring Hill, TN and Sherry Hughes of Blue Springs, MS; two brothers, Sayles Brown of Loretto, TN and Gary Brown of Clarksdale; six grandchildren, Ashton Williams, Reagan Williams, Blake Williams, Brandon Williams, Ellie Williams and Scott Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Curt Hawes, Harold Hughes, Blake Williams, Brandon Williams, Eric Williams and Scott Williams.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
