Mr. Jeffery Owens Gann, 66, of Vicksburg, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026, near one of his favorite places on earth, Grenada Lake. He was born January 31, 1960, in Grenada to William Owens Gann and Sunshine Marie Liles Gann.

A retired pipe welder, Jeff spent many years perfecting his craft and earned the respect of colleagues throughout his career. An avid outdoorsman, he found great joy and peace in God's creation. Whether hunting in the woods or fishing on the water, Jeff was happiest when enjoying the outdoors.

Above all, Jeff was a devoted family man who treasured every moment spent with his daughter, grandchildren, and his many nieces and nephews. His love for his family was evident in the time, attention, and affection he gave so freely. He will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his love of the outdoors, and the deep love he had for those closest to him.

Jeff's memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

A time of remembrance will be held from 10:30 AM until 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service. All are welcome to come and share stories and fond memories of Jeff with other friends and loved ones.

Jeff is survived by his daughter, Mandy Gann of Pontotoc; sister, Linda England of Grenada; brother, Russell Gann of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Darian Souter and Elise Golden, both of Pontotoc and his long-time companion, Lynn Leflore.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mike Gann.
