Funeral services for Jamie "Jennie" Marascalco Pritchard, will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2015 at 11:00 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Grenada under the direction of McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service. Reverend Gregory Plata will officiate the service. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Monday evening at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rosary to follow in the funeral home chapel at 7:00 PM.
Mrs. Pritchard died Saturday, January 2, 2016 at her residence. She was born February 22, 1952 in Grenada to the late Louis, Sr. and Adelphia Chiocco Marascalco. She was an employee of Pennaco Hosiery before becoming a devoted housewife. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Grenada.
Mrs. Pritchard is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Larry Pritchard and an infant sister, Suzanna Marascalco. She is survived by her son, Joe Pritchard; one grandson, Darren Pritchard; one brother, Louis Marascalco, Jr. (Lynne), and five sisters, Annette Smith (Jimmy) of Greenwood, Mary Staten (Bob), Josephine Thornton, Margaret Edwards (Donald) and Patricia Shankle (Jeff) all of Grenada. Also a large host of nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces and cousins; and a very special life-long friend, Brenda Brown of Grenada.
Pallbearers will be Chris Edwards, Clay Harbour, Cody Harbour, Louie Marascalco, Lance Smith, Robby Staten, Greg Staten, John Douglas Staten and Tanner Thornton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jay Bennett, Jim Crowder, Michael Harbour, Richard May and Vinny Williams.
