Mr. Jerry Ronald Rosamond, 81, of Winona, passed away Monday, January 19, 2026, at his residence. He was born December 10, 1944, to George Mease Rosamond and Abby Inez Evans Rosamond.
Jerry retired after many years of dedicated service as a machine repairman with Packard-Delphi. A faithful member of Moore Memorial Methodist Church in Winona, he valued his church family and the fellowship it provided.
An avid outdoorsman, Jerry found great joy in hunting and especially in crappie fishing. He was a longtime and proud member of the Magnolia Crappie Club, where he shared both his passion for fishing and lasting friendships.
Jerry also honorably served his country as a member of the Mississippi Army National Guard, a role he fulfilled with pride and commitment.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Moore Memorial Methodist Church in Winona with Rev. Neville Vanderburg officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Nina Gail Ingram Rosamond; son, Ken Rosamond(Becky) of Vaiden; sisters, Linda McMurtrey of Brandon and Dawn Marie Skelton of Kosciusko; brothers, Jim Rosamond(Jo Ann) of Madison and Bill Rosamond of Grenada; and four grandchildren, Mason, Natalie, Thomas and Benjamin Rosamond.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Alice Faye Stepp, Carolyn Trevino and Linda Rucker and a brother, George Rosamond.
