IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jessie Ray
Kendall
February 10, 1934 – January 20, 2023
Mrs. Jessie Ray Kendall, 88, of Cascilla, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 10, 1934 in Charleston to Lacy Lee and Lois Regina Smith. Mrs. Kendall was the oldest living member of North Shady Grove Church of God where she devoted herself to the Lord and his work for over 71 years. A devoted homemaker, she enjoyed cooking and sharing meals with family and friends who were dear to her heart. She never turned down the opportunity to go shopping and was a gifted conversationalist who always put those in her presence at ease. While our hearts are hurt at the loss of this precious saint, we find comfort in knowing she held in her heart the cure to death, a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 23, 2023 at the North Shady Grove Church of God with Rev. Ricky Cook, Rev. Linnie Maples and Rev. Nathan Franklin officiating. Interment will follow in the North Shady Grove Church of God Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 PM Sunday evening and one hour prior to the service Monday all at North Shady Grove Church of God.
