Miss Jessie Alexandra Watson, 6-year-old daughter of Joe and Rebecca Hill Watson, of Grenada, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022.  She was born October 31, 2015 in Grenada.  Jessie had just completed Kindergarten at Grenada Lower Elementary School.  She enjoyed playing softball with her friends at Grenada Youth League and loved learning the art of dance at Legacy Dance Academy.  While Jessie loved spending time perfecting her back handspring, she also enjoyed singing and being outdoors.  She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Grenada.  Jessie will be lovingly remembered for her big heart, sweet smile and giving the best hugs.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada with Rev. Chris Accardy officiating.  Interment will follow in the Grenada Memorial Garden.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday evening at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include her parents; two sisters, JoLeigh Watson and JaLynn Watson; and grandparents, Randy and Linda Smith and Bill Ventura, all of Greenwood; and her great-grandmother, Barbara Hill of Greenwood.

Pallbearers will be Michael Branch, Will Goff, Will Hill, Michael McNeer, Gerald Reves, Bill Ventura and Nick Watson.
