Mrs. Jewel Laverne Fancher Kitchens, 87, of Byram, passed away Monday, June 8, 2020 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.  She was born November 28, 1932 in Greenwood to Emmett Noah and Alma Louise Randall Fancher.  Mrs. Kitchens spent most of her working life at Trustmark Bank and she was a member of Queen Lane Baptist Church in Jackson.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at the Oddfellows Cemetery in Grenada with Rev. Barry Worrell officiating.

Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Philley and her husband, Ronnie of Grenada and Sherry Vining and her husband, Jerry of Southaven; one son, James E. Kitchens, Jr. and his wife, Lisa of Byram; seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Elroy Kitchens, Sr.
