Mr. Jim Franklin Durham, 74, of Florence, formerly of Grenada, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at his residence. He was born June 7, 1945 in Holcomb to Edgar and Dovie Yarbrough Durham. Jim had worked for many years as a truck driver, farmer and eventually worked as a contractor. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church at Oxberry.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, December 20, 2019 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada. Interment will follow in the Bethel Cemetery at Oxberry. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until service time Friday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include two daughters, Dee Durham Hall of Carrollton and Amanda Durham Hays (Charlie) of Morgantown, KY; five sisters, Edna Lee of Grenada, Joy Durham of Houston, TX, Barbara Pickle of Holcomb, Shirley Ledford of Granbury, TX and Margie Mason of Charleston; two grandchildren, Easton Jordan and Gavin Hall; one great-grandchild, Parker Jordan; and his long-time companion, Diane Richardson and her children, Julie Brown, Selena Lovejoy and Michael Hampton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Willa Dean White, Willie Sue Williams and Terry Diane Durham; and two brothers, Sam Durham and Billy Durham.

Pallbearers will be Brian Durham, Jerry Durham, Cody Lee, Brad Lovejoy, Anthony Pickle and Barry Pickle.
