Milton Henry "Jim Tom" Rose, Jr., 93, of Duck Hill, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 at his residence. He was born April 29, 1924 in Grenada to Milton Henry, Sr. and Rachel Jackson Rose. He was a Baptist and a US Navy Veteran with six years of service in the Pacific during World War II. Jim had retired as a salesman in the sawmill industry.

Family and friends will gather from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada. A graveside service at the Red Hill Cemetery near Duck Hill will immediately follow visitation. Rev. Jerry McNeer will officiate.

Survivors include his sister, Betty Rose Thompson of Grenada; four brothers, Jack Rose (Mary Edna) of Holcomb; Bill Rose (Carolyn) of Holcomb; Ben Rose (Mary) of Lauderdale and Robert Rose (Floyce) of Demorest, GA; a special friend, Yvonna Threadgill of Duck Hill and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Jack Blakely, Woody Coleman, Hayes Collins, Bubba Rose, Jay Rose and Mike Rose.
