Mr. Jimmy Michael Dixon, 69, of Grenada, passed away Friday, April 10, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – DeSoto in Southaven. He was born March 4, 1957, in Grenada to McDaniel Dixon and Bobbie Lee King. Jimmy honorably served his country in the United States Army and later spent many years traveling the road as a truck driver, logging thousands of miles throughout his career. Following his time in trucking, he worked as a professional paint contractor. In his spare time, Jimmy enjoyed making arts and crafts, traveling, and fishing. In earlier years, he also had a passion for racing go-karts, four-wheelers, and motorcycles.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 16, 2026 from the Chapel of McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Rev. Roger Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Thursday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Dixon; daughters, Jennifer Grice(Derek) of Olive Branch and Jamie Mitchell(Daniel) of Slayden; sister, Sherrie Ward of Memphis; and three grandchildren, Ethan Howell, Sara Howell and Jacey Nichols.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sheila Sides and a brother, Donald Dixon.
