Mr. Jimmy Skelton Holland, 70, of Calhoun City, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the Yalobusha General Nursing Home in Water Valley. He was born September 25, 1947 in Grenada to Miller D. and Lola Skelton Holland. He was a retired plumber, a National Guard Veteran and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, May 19, 2019 at the Bethany Cemetery in Slate Springs under the direction of McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time Saturday at Bethany Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Kim Spratlin and her husband, Jody of Brandon and Jordan Holland of Calhoun City; three sons, Zac Holland of Bonham, TX, Drew Holland and his wife of Stephanie of Holcomb and Chris Lucius and his wife, Karla of Vardaman; two brothers, Henry Holland of Oklahoma and John Holland of Virginia; seven grandchildren, Justin Spratlin, Taylor Barnette, Genna Grace Edmondson, Anna Beth Lucius, Addison Lucius, Sarah Bowers and Jaxon Holland; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Libby Gary.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Barnette, Dennis Gary, Tip Holland, Chris Lucius, Jody Spratlin and Justin Spratlin.
