Mr. James Earl "Jimmy" Kirk, 51, of Grenada, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019 at his residence. He was born May 20, 1968 in Lancaster, CA to Marvin Earl and Sue Kirk. He had honorably served our country in the US Air Force retiring after 21 years of service as a Tech Sergeant. Jimmy had served five tours to Iraq prior to his retirement. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and an accomplished musician.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, October 7, 2019 at the North Mississippi Veteran's Cemetery at Kilmichael with Dr. Clarence Cooper officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 PM Sunday evening at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include his mother, Sue Kirk of Grenada; two daughters, Lauren Cotten of Orange Beach, AL and Britnee Kirk of Starkville; one son, Bradley Kirk of Brest, France; one sister, Janine Kirk Lee(Chris) of Oxford; one brother, John Wesley Kirk of Grenada; and two grandchildren, William Lonsdale and Eli Cotten.

He was preceded in death by his father.
