Mr. James Edward "Jimmy" Williams, 85, of Grenada, passed away Christmas Eve Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at his residence with all of his family gathered together.  He was born August 28, 1939 in Waynesboro, TN to Waco and Lucille White Williams.  Jimmy, a retired tile setter, honorably served our country in the US Army during the Berlin Crisis.  He was a distinguished gentleman and family man who loved spending time outdoors fishing and hunting.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 28, 2024 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Bro. Wayne Cupit officiating.  Neal Hillard will deliver the eulogy.  Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Saturday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include his wife, Gwen Williams; daughter, Shelley Cupit(Wayne) of Grenada; two grandchildren, Dallas Cupit of Oxford and Laken Thorn(Jonathan) of Carrollton; one great-grandchild, Kye Thorn and nine siblings.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Ashmore, Steve Blaylock, Glen Duke, Billy Ryals, Benny Taylor and Henry Topps.
