Jo Ann Johnson Scruggs, 85, of Gore Springs, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada.  She was born April 23, 1935 in Batesville to William and Robbie LaMaster Johnson.  She worked for many years as a cashier at B's Grocery in Gore Springs and was a much loved fixture in the Gore Springs Community.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, February 8, 2021 at the Gore Springs Cemetery with Dr. Joey Faulk officiating.  Family and friends will gather from 2:30 - 3:30 PM Monday afternoon at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Smith of Horn Lake; sister, Linda Cones of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Bryan, Nicholas and Cody Baker and Reanne Baker Fitch; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Pam Baker and a brother, Clayton Johnson.

Pallbearers will be Doug Alexander, Glen Alexander, Darren Harrison, Tripp James, Steve Renfro, Steve Rice and Robin Rouse.
