IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joan
Nail
October 3, 1942 – December 11, 2025
Mrs. Joan Elizabeth Eldridge Nail, 83, of Duck Hill, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025, at her residence. She was born October 3, 1942, in Arkansas to Edd and Marie Lane Eldridge.
Joan will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 51 years. He was blessed to share his life with one of the most loving, compassionate, and nurturing wives any man could ever ask for. She was the heart of their home and the soul of their family.
As a mother, she was warm and tender, always giving of herself and loving without condition. Her gentle spirit and caring nature touched everyone she met.
Joan found joy in life's simple and beautiful things—gardening, painting, making dolls, and creating with her hands. She was never afraid of hard work and was always willing to help her husband, whether that meant building, climbing onto a roof, or digging a ditch right alongside him.
Her strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Her love lives on in the lives she touched and in the memories that will be cherished forever.A time of remembrance will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 PM Sunday, December 21, 2025, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service.
Survivors include her husband, Danny Nail; daughters, Edna Lawrence(Mike) of Grenada, Dena Rainey(Ronnie) of Duck Hill and Sarah Nail of Grenada; son, Neil Bergeron of Duck Hill; sister, Denise Moore and Nettie Nashaat of Arkansas; brother, Bunk Eldridge of Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Lacie Adams, Casey Adams, Joshua Rainey, Brittiney Rainey Pee, Jessica Nail Willis, Heather Nail Jenkins and Johnathan Johnson; 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
