.Mrs. Joan Robinson, 83, of Grenada, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in Grenada. She was born September 29, 1935 to Guy Wooten and Georgia Mae Johnson Rikard. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and a former supervisor for Pennaco Hosiery Mill. She loved to work in the yard and in her flower bed; she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren; Lana Jolie and Liam Stephen Yopp.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, March 22, 2019 at McKibben & Guinn Funeral Service. Interment will follow in Clear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Lafayette County. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service Friday all at McKibben and Guinn.
Survivors include one son, Randy Sutton(Tammie) of Grenada; six grandchildren, Kelly Yopp(Stephen), D.J. Sutton, Courtney Paige Lane, Russell Hoskins, Amanda Hoskins and Jerimiah Gilbert; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Maurice Robinson; son, Chip Sutton and daughter-in-law, Cindy and a brother, James Phillip Rikard.
Memorials made be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
