Mr. Joe Gwin Woods, 91, of Grenada, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2026 at Providence Assisted Living Center. Joe was born March 4, 1935 in Alva, Mississippi to Robert E. and Lura Bell Few Woods. Joe was an Army Veteran and had a career in sales. He loved spending time with family, gardening and restoring cars

A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at McKibben & Guinn Funeral Service from 5:00-7:00 PM.

Survivors include four sons, Steve Woods(Tammy) of Grenada, Frank Woods(Cherish) of Pearl, Charlie Woods(Dana) of Duck Hill and Lee Woods(Deanna) of Grenada; seven grandchildren, Stan Woods(Rachael), Neil Woods(Kayla), Evan Woods(J.B.), Preston Woods(Swayze), Nathan Woods, Brittani Colburn and Michael Smith; ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Yvonne Woods and two brothers, Billy and Larry Woods.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
