Mr. Joel Davis Branscome, Jr., 69, of Grenada, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at his residence.  He was born August 26, 1951 to J.D. and Betty Bowen Branscome.  Joel attended Mississippi State University and was a retired cattleman.  He was a member of First United Methodist Church – Grenada.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 8, 2021 at the Woodlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Daniel Herring officiating.

Joel is survived by his aunt, Christine Hales of Vicksburg; uncle, Harold Ray Bowen of Greenwood and a host of cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Diane Branscome Wimberley.
