Joey Traylor passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020.  He was 55 years old.  He was born in Nashville, TN on July 2, 1965.  He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Traylor of Hernando, MS.

He is survived by his wife, Johna (Byrd) Traylor of Grenada, MS, his daughter, Mackenzie and a son, Peyton. His mothers Linda Arn of Grenada and Barbara Traylor of Hernando.  He also has two sisters, Sherri Stanley (Larry) of Portland, OR, and Ginger Lowell (Tim) of Hernando, MS and a brother, Terry Barrentine (Tiffany) of Montgomery, TX.  He has 3 nieces, 2 great nephews and a great niece.

Joey lived in Vicksburg until 2005 when he and his family moved to Grenada.  Following in his fathers footsteps, he served 4 years in the military as a Special Forces Green Beret before spending nearly two decades in Automotive Sales and Management. In 2006, he started his own business, Dingmaster. Joey was known as a devoted Ole Miss Rebel and New Orleans Saints fan.  Joey had an amazing singing voice and loved entertaining friends and family singing Elvis tunes.
