Mr. John Thomas Hodges, 75, of Grenada, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 at his residence. He was born February 27, 1941 in Oneonta, AL to Howard and Julia Hodges. He had served his country in the United States Marine Corps and retired as a Warehouse Supervisor with Michelin Tire Corporation. Following his retirement with Michelin, he became a licensed hearing aid specialist and formed Hodges Hearing Aid Service, Inc.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Gore Springs Cemetery with Rev. Jack Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Gwen Hodges; four sons, Gerald Faucher of Olive Branch, Kenneth Faucher of Dallas, TX, Stephen Hodges of Florida and Kevin Hodges of Nashville, TN; one brother, Willard Hodges of Garden City, MO; four grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Cody Dinkelacker, Walt Dinkelacker, Cayden Hall, Hunter Stewart, John Walter Stewart, Parker Stewart and Charles Williams.
