Mrs. Judy Aldridge Moore, 76, of Grenada, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at her residence.  She was born May 29, 1946 in Grenada.  Judy spent most of her working life in the insurance business and was an accomplished musician.  Mrs. Moore had served as pianist or organist at Elliott Baptist Church, Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada as well as Calvary Baptist Church in Greenville.  Her love for music was evident and she enjoyed sharing her talent in the churches where she served.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 16, 2022 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Rev. Craig Shackleford officiating.  Interment will follow in the Elliott Baptist Church Cemetery.  Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Friday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Moore; son, David Moore(Nikki) of Grenada; sister, Diane Shook of Paynes; and three grandchildren, Kaylen Holloway, Hunter Moore and Nicholas Permenter.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Ezell Chapman; father, Austin Aldridge and a sister, Betty Fears Chambers.

Pallbearers will be Robert Bennett, Wayne Blount, Russell Frazier, Wayne Frazier, Bubba Moore and Wess Moore.
