Mrs. Julie Ann Parrett Tipton, 33, of Grenada, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at her residence. She was born August 14, 1984 to Timothy and Marysue Cooper Parrett. In addition to being a wife, mother and nursing instructor at Holmes Community College, Julie was pursuing her Ph.D. in Nursing Administration from William Carey University. Julie was a devoted and active member of The Pentecostals of Grenada.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 19, 2018 at The Pentecostals of Grenada. Comments will be offered by Holmes Community College Director of Nursing, Dr. LaWanda Herron.  Ministers officiating are Rev. Michael Cooper, Rev. Damon Tipton and Rev. David Tipton. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday evening and one hour prior to the service Thursday all at The Pentecostals of Grenada.

Survivors include her husband, David Devonn Tipton, III; son, Cooper Hayes Tipton of Grenada; two daughters, Anna Kate Tipton and Ava Klaire Tipton of Grenada; her parents, Tim and Marysue Parrett of Kilmichael; and a brother, Hunter Parrett and his wife, Katie of Mathiston.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, J.D. and Carmen Cooper and Jake and Annie Ruth Phillips Parrett.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Bell, Scott Cooper, Trae Miller, Barry Parrett, Bryan Parrett, Hunter Parrett, Jason Sawyer and Steve Tipton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chad Batson, Jay Soday, Doris Sprouse and Charlie Whitfield.
