Dorothy Katherine "Kathy" Raper Marlow, 58, of Duck Hill, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Sacred Heart Hospital – Emerald Coast in Miramar Beach, FL. She was born September 19, 1957 in Winona to Charles Eugene and Dorothy Laster Raper. She retired as a rural carrier with the United States Postal Service and was a member of the Elliott Church of Christ. Kathy was a loving daughter, mother and grandmother who will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the Elliott Church of Christ with Bro. Ken Salley officiating. Interment will follow in the Duck Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Laster Raper; three sons, Neal Marlow, Lee Marlow and his wife, Shana, and Kerry Marlow and his wife, Ashley; two grandchildren, Leah Kate Marlow and Mary Kathryn Marlow; and one brother, David Raper and his wife, Stephanie, all of Duck Hill.
Pallbearers will be Terry Brown, Joel Gordon, Kody Hamilton, Ragan Hayward, Chris Turner and Kyle Wilson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Gordon, David Laster, Bobby Laster, Trent Leverette, Sonny Raper and Jimmy Vance.
