Mrs. Katherine Burrell Riley, 69, of Grenada, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at her residence.  She was born January 16, 1952 in Sallis to Jimmy and Shirley Abels Bull.  A loving mother and grandmother, she was a devoted homemaker always striving to make her home a warm and inviting atmosphere.  She loved the Lord and reading His word.  She enjoyed worshiping the Lord with her church family at Friendship Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be held at 3:30 PM Monday, February 1, 2021 at the Pea Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Tim McCaffrey officiating.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Riley; two daughters, Amanda Michelle Hames(Curtis) of Pontotoc and Lora Gibson(Ricky) of Pascagoula; two sons, Michael Anthony Burrell(Brigit) of Grenada and Larry Hugh Riley, Jr.(Melanie) of Lucedale; six grandchildren, Kristen Parella, Riley Parker, Noah Riley, Jordan Riley, Little Mike Burrell and Amelia Grace Riley Nabors; and one great-grandchild, Rosaleigh Parella.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Abels, Darrell Burrell, Curtis Hames, Riley Parker, Larry High Riley, Jr. and Noah Riley.
