Mr. Wilmer Kenneth McLendon, 70, of Tillatoba, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020 at his home. He was born October 5, 1949 in Tallahatchie County MS to Wilmer Norman and Willie Elizabeth Tillman McLendon. Kenny was a member of Tillatoba Baptist Church. He was a fomer mayor of Tillatoba, a former Mason and a Business Owner.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Tillatoba Baptist Church with Rickey Harris and Mike Ramage officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery in Tillatoba, MS. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time Tuesday at Tillatoba Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Beth McLendon of Tillatoba; 3 daughters, Nikki Newsom (Jeff) of Grenada, Lora McLendon Hunter of Madison and Melissa McLendon Bloodworth of Grenada; 1 son, Scott McLendon of Grenada; 5 Grandchildren, Cody McLendon (Treasure), John Dillon McLendon, Brody Newsom, Addison & Abbigail Newsom; 1 Great Grandchild, Layne Hart McLendon; 1 Niece Maci Scott (James), and 1 Great Nephew, Kyle Scott
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 Brother, Stephen Keith McLendon.
Pallbearers will be Jason Beavers, Don Bowman, Billy Edwards, David Robison, Eddie Simmons, and Jeff Tillman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Chambers, Callie Hoop and Bobby Lofton.
