Mr. James Kenneth "Kenny" Tierce, 78, of Grenada, passed away Friday, January 26, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Memphis.  He was born August 28, 1945 in Memphis to James Fred and Clairnell Scott Tierce.  "KT", as he was affectionately known, was a graduate of John Rundle High School and attended Northwest Mississippi Junior College.  He enjoyed a long career working at Heatcraft/Luvata and retired as plant manager of their Commercial Coil Division.  He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada and an avid golfer.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 PM Monday, January 29, 2024 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service.  A graveside service will immediately follow visitation at the Mars Hill Cemetery near Duck Hill.  Rev. J. Barry Worrell will officiate.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Tierce; daughters, Stephanie LeClair(Tim) of Grenada and Valerie Davis of Brandon; sister, Sandra Avery of Gore Springs; three grandchildren, Lindsey Fyfe(Evan), Andrew LeClair(Mekinzie) and Matthew Davis and a great-grandchild, Parker Fyfe.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lynn Tierce.

James Ralph Bennett, Lee Hankins, Tim LeClair, David McElwrath, Barry Rounsaville and Bob Taylor will honor Mr. Tierce by serving as pallbearers and carry him to rest in the Mars Hill Cemetery.
