Mr. Kirby Wayne McCalop, 55, of Holcomb, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020 at his residence.  He was born May 17, 1965 in Grenada to Kelly and Patsy Joyce Payne McCalop.  Kirby was a devoted member of Christ Community Church and was also active in Jesus Saves Bro in Holcomb.  Kirby was on fire for God and had a heart for leading others to Christ.  Among his many hobbies were riding his side by side with his Holcomb buddies.  Kirby will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Christ Community Church in Grenada with Rev. John Goldwater officiating.  Interment will follow in the Holcomb Cemetery.  Family and friends will gather from 1:30 PM until service time Tuesday at the church.

Survivors include his beloved, Tonya Harris; two aunts, Sarah Reeves of Holcomb and Grace Whites of Greenwood; and an uncle, Donnie Payne of Holcomb.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Cindy Tutor and a brother, Greg McCalop.

Pallbearers will be Shannon Harris, Jerry Lindley, Jason Little, Kevin Mabry, John Terry and Danny Thomas.
