Kole Brett Ray Carter, 11, of Grenada, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022.  He was born May 27, 2010 in Tupelo.  Kole enjoyed many activities as most kids would such as video games, skateboarding, and fishing.  He was a fifth-grade student at Grenada Upper Elementary School.  Kole aspired to be an astronaut and had the determination to accomplish this goal.  He enjoyed participating in church activities at First United Methodist Church in Grenada.  Kole had a big heart and it showed with all the love he gave to those closest to him.  Kole will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, March 3, 2022 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Daniel Herring officiating. Family and friends will gather from 4:00 PM until service time Thursday at McKibben and Guinn.  Kole will be laid to rest at 10:00 AM Friday, March 4, 2022 at the Oddfellows Cemetery in Grenada.

Survivors include his mother, Angel Carter of Grenada; two brothers, Kason Mathis of Tupelo and Kaleb Carter of Grenada; grandparents, Richard and Mary Lucas of Grenada; aunt and uncle, Annie and James Fuller of Oakland and his best friend, Lucas Hall of Grenada.

Pallbearers will be Michael Denman, James Fuller, Lucas Hall, Richard Lucas and Leon Williamson.
