Mr. Lamar DeLoach, 84, of Carroll County, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023 in Winona.  He was born January 5, 1939 in Carroll County to Frank, Sr. and Eldora Heath DeLoach.  Lamar honorably served our country in the US Navy and also worked for a period of time at Pennaco Hosiery in Grenada.  He was best known as a cattle farmer and an avid outdoorsman.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Liberty Baptist Church in the Jefferson Community of Carroll County with Rev. Gary Tanner officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church.

Survivors include a brother, Frank DeLoach, Jr. of Carroll County and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Doyle DeLoach.
