Mr. Larry Steve Fountain, Sr., 70, of Eupora, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025 at Diversicare in Eupora.  He was born March 2, 1955 in Choctaw County to Richard and Pauline Medders Fountain.  Larry worked as a farmer most of his life and was the true definition of an outdoorsman.  He loved fishing and working farm animals.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial service plans are private.

Survivors include three daughters, Brandi Swindoll(James) of Gore Springs, Crystal Duncan of Eupora and Valerie Fountain of Batesville; four sons, Larry Fountain, Jr of Eupora, John Fountain(Amanda & Heather) of Eupora, Benjamin Fountain(Rachel) of Eupora and Mikey Fountain; three sisters, Jean Gilbert, Kathy Hawkins and Carol Hoover, all of Eupora; and twelve grandchildren, Jay Duncan, Cynthia Duncan, Richard Duncan, Pauline Duncan, Steve Fountain, Adam Fountain, Emma Fountain, Ben Fountain, Hunter Fountain, Steven Fountain, Mason Rainey and Grayson Fountain.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jerry Fountain.
