Mr. Fred Lawrence "Larry" Ruth, Jr., 65, of Grenada, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018 at his residence. He was born December 19, 1952 in Marks to Fred Lawrence Ruth, Sr. and Betty Selby Ruth. He was retired after having been a Kentucky Fried Chicken franchisee for 31 years. Larry was an avid outdoorsman always enjoying every opportunity to hunt, fish or just spent time outside. He also was a devoted Alabama Crimson Tide football fan. His kind and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Danny Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Lambert Memorial Cemetery in Lambert, MS. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until service time Wednesday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy Ruth; one daughter, Sarah Ella Cole(Roger) of Nashville; one son, Seth Rollins Champion(Crissy) of Chattanooga, TN; his parents Fred L. "Pat" and Betty Selby Ruth of Grenada; one sister, Donna Ruth Ackman of Grenada; one brother, Alan Ruth of Cave Springs, AR; and five grandsons, Joey, Jack and Press Champion and Airey and Campbell Cole.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Jan Foote.
