IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lee
Foreman
February 25, 1955 – July 15, 2023
Mr. Lee Brooks Foreman, 68, of Grenada, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023. He was born February 25, 1955 at St. Joseph Hospital in Memphis, TN to Caley Foreman and Jimmie Sides. Growing up in Grenada, Lee was affectionately known to many as "the paperboy" and would often visit with the families on his route. Later, after working retail in Memphis, TN and starting a family, Lee opened his own shoe store, The Silver Slipper.
After selling shoes, his career led him to work for many companies, in various capacities, all of which involved working with and amongst people, leading to many friendships that span across several states. More notably, Lee worked for Kirk Auto Company for over fifteen years as a salesman in Clarksdale, Greenwood, and then back home in Grenada.
Lee loved his job, the wonderful people he worked for and worked with, but he particularly loved his customers and the friendships he developed throughout his years in sales.
While this all tells little about the life he lived, Lee will be remembered best by his friends and family for his impeccable ability to tell a Tom Brady story, his charismatic personality, his love for his granddaughter, and the kindness he displayed towards each person that crossed his exciting path in life.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 22, 2023 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Bro. Wayne Fancher officiating. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Saturday at McKibben and Guinn.
Lee is survived by his daughter, Lindsey Leggett (Jason); granddaughter Lillian Belle; his twin sister, Debra Tillman (Les); two brothers, Caley Foreman (Allyson) and Robert Foreman (Lynn) and a host of nieces and nephews.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents.
