Mrs. Linda Faye Bennett, 83, of Holcomb, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada.  She was born September 1, 1937 in Montgomery County to Hugh Milton and Claudie Lee Rogers Seymoure.  Mrs. Bennett worked for many years as an LPN at Grenada Health and Rehab.  Prior to being a nurse, she worked at Pennaco Hosiery.  She was a member of Holcomb Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Holcomb Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Tribble officiating.

Survivors include one daughter, Angie Haddock of Grenada; three sons, Gary Bennett(Karen) of Grenada, Greg Bennett(Sandra) of Duck Hill and Glen Bennett(Jerri) of Pontotoc; one sister, Marie Brown of Winona; nine grandchildren, Stephanie Ralston, April Smith, Trena Carpenter, Brandy Morrow, Nathan Haddock, Garrett Haddock, Lindsay Bland, Kaitlyn Bennett and Zachary Bennett; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilford Gene Bennett; sister, Lilla Mae Herrod and son-in-law, John Wayne Haddock.
