Linda Jane Collins of Starkville, Mississippi went home on Thursday morning, September 30, 2021. Though she struggled at the end and we are relieved her suffering is over, we will miss her with all our hearts. She was a wonderful mother, a loving sister and daughter, and a true friend. She took pride in her work, always going the extra mile. She delighted in making things beautiful and in making beautiful things. She only had one child but many knew her as "Mom". She loved and was loved by nearly everyone she met.

Died September 30, 2021, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS

Daughter - Veronica Chase and husband Shawn of Canton, Mississippi

Sister - Nancy Wolf of Crawfordville, Florida

Sister - Susan Pollard of Gardendale, Alabama

Brother - Phillip Collins and wife Kathy of Starkville, Mississippi

Stepmother - Sue Collins of Bradley, Mississippi

Stepsister - Susan Williamson and husband Brian of Louisville, Mississippi

Plus, numerous nieces and nephews.

Linda was retired from Mississippi State University Department of Housing and Residence Life.
