Mrs. Linda Rose Nichols Jackson, 64, of Oakland, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019 at her residence. She was born December 15, 1954 in Charleston to Travis and Elizabeth Haynes Nichols. Linda was a graduate of Charleston High School and the University of Mississippi. She spent 23 years teaching in the Charleston Schools as a 5 ^th grade math teacher. Linda loved the Lord and was a devoted member of the Oakland Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 2, 2019 at Oakland Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Hood and Rev. Mike Ramage officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery near Oakland. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time Monday at Oakland Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Howard Jackson, Jr.; one daughter, Beth Jackson of Oakland; one sister, Brenda Scallions of Tippo; one brother, Terry Nichols of Oakland; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Scottie Nichols.

Pallbearers will be Shane Ford, Scott Hendrix, Lewis Jackson, Heath Nichols, Travis Nichols and Mike Roberts.
