Obituary

Mrs. Linda Sue McCluskey Welch, 64, of Holcomb, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Panola Medical Center in Batesville. She was born September 25, 1961, in Winona.

Linda worked as a forklift operator at Viking Range in Greenwood for more than 17 years. She later worked alongside her husband at Welch's Grill in Holcomb, where she helped serve wonderful food while creating a welcoming place for members of the community to gather and fellowship.

A master gardener, Linda took great pride in growing vegetables and found joy in sharing her harvest with family, friends, and neighbors. She also enjoyed preserving the fruits of her labor through canning. In her spare time, Linda loved traveling and spending time at the family's cabin in Arkansas.

Linda was truly a selfless individual who consistently placed the needs of others before her own. Her kind heart, generous spirit, and willingness to help anyone in need left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She was a Baptist and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Her memory will be cherished by her family, friends, and the many lives she touched throughout her lifetime.
