Mrs. Lisa Dixon Hood, 52, of Grenada, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at her residence. She was born July 27, 1964 in Grenada to R.L. and Rebecca Vance Dixon. She was an inventory specialist at True Value in Grenada and a member of Hebron Baptist Church. She was a loving wife and mother and a faithful friend. Lisa will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada with Rev. Rickey Harris and Rev. Damon Tipton officiating. Interment will follow in the Oddfellows Cemetery in Grenada. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Saturday evening at McKibben and Guinn and one hour prior to the service Sunday at Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, John Hood; four daughters, Lindsey Byford of Grenada, Karrie Byford of Grenada, Haley Hardy of Batesville and Hannah Hood of Grenada; her father, R.L. Dixon of Grenada; one sister, Mitzi Rowland (Kenneth) of Enid; one brother, Steve Dixon of Grenada; and three grandchildren, Rebecca Byford, Marleigh Pruitt and Hadley Hardy.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rebecca Vance Dixon.

Pallbearers will be Gary Beavers, Bill Bole, Jeff Edwards, Jimmy Jeffords, Sr., Jimmy Jeffords, Jr., and Chris Neese.
