Obituary
Miss Margaret Burns, 79, of Memphis, formerly of Coffeeville, passed away December 27, 2016 at her residence. She was born October 4, 1937 in Coffeeville to Wilson and Katie Dorris Burns. She was a retired accountant having worked at the US Naval Station in Millington, TN for over 30 years. She was a loving, kind person and will be missed by all who knew her.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at the Shiloh Church west of Coffeeville at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
Survivors include two sisters, Virginia Eaton and her husband, Ron of Grenada and Grace B. Duffield and her husband, Gary of Tulsa, OK; three brothers, Ralph Burns of Jackson, Danny Burns of Antlers, OK and Richard Burns of Oxford; and one sister-in-law, Patricia Burns of Grenada.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Joe Burns.
Memorials may be directed to the Shiloh Cemetery Fund.
