Mrs. Margaret W. Garrick, 93, of Grenada, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Silver Creek Assisted Living in Olive Branch. She was born October 6, 1924 in Shaw to Clarence Caldwell and Eunice Rivers Williamson. Margaret had worked in a variety of positions through the years as a school teacher, in the Chancery Clerk's office and ultimately for many years in banking. She served as assistant to the President of Grenada Bank and Trust and retired at age 65 as Branch Manager of BancorpSouth in Grenada where she served on the Board of Directors and also worked part time until she was 87. While she enjoyed a wonderful professional life, she was also a devoted homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church in Grenada, active in the Chamber of Commerce and a volunteer with the hospital ladies' auxiliary.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, February 22, 2018 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Dr. Jim Nunnelee and Dr. John Boler officiating. Interment will follow in the Oddfellows Cemetery in Greenwood. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday evening and one hour prior to the service Thursday all at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include three sons, Joseph Daniel Garrick, III (Dianna) of Memphis, Robert Caldwell Garrick of Houston, TX and C. David Garrick (Kathy) of Vicksburg; one sister, Clarice Williamson Greer of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren, Kacey Garrick Smith (Corey), Emily Garrick Brown (Brooks), Lauren Garrick Hodges (Gabe), Sarah Katherine Garrick Brewer (Kyle), Martha Claire Garrick Tuthill (David) and Allen Elizabeth Holobaugh (Brad); and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Daniel Garrick, Jr. and a sister, Patricia Williamson.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Brock, Frank Collins, Lee Greer, John Hunter, Stan Leflore and Thomas Ligon. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ray Branscome, Wesley Melton and Scott Woods.
