Margaret Jean McCluskey, 75, passed away peacefully at home on March 4, 2023, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

She was born December 28, 1947, in Grenada to Arlee and Lillian White. While in high school, Margaret met the love of her life, Jerry McCluskey. During their marriage of 57 years, they had two children: Richie McCluskey and Jan Lewis. Family was first and foremost to her, and she enjoyed the special times she had with her grandchildren.

"MarJean", as she was known to family and friends, was an artistic and free-spirited woman. She truly lived life to the fullest through traveling, spending time at her cabin with her dog, Sadie, and being creative through her art, which included ceramics, stained glass, floral arrangements, and sewing. "MarJean" also owned and operated a beauty salon for a number of years, "Sassy Curl".  She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends will gather for visitation at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 2:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM in the Chapel at McKibben and Guinn with Rev. Chuck Provine and Bro. Rickey Cole officiating. Interment will follow in the Odd Fellows and Confederate Cemetery in Grenada. Afterwards, a reception for family and friends will happen at the Farm at 380 Getaway Road, Grenada, MS.

Her parents, Lillian and Arlee White, predeceased her in death. Survivors include her husband, Jerry McCluskey; daughter, Jan Lewis; son, Richie McCluskey, and daughter-in-law, Michelle McCluskey; two sisters, Barbara Tullos and Katherine Crews; one brother, Thomas White, and sister-in-law, Virginia White; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will include Ben McCluskey, Caden Lewis, John Wesley Crews, Justin White, Austin Bosley, Liam Nelson, Randy McCluskey, and Scott McCluskey.
