Mrs. Margaret Dell McGarrity O'Bryant, 82, of Grenada, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at her residence. She was born August 31, 1936 in Tallahatchie County to Ira Glenn and Minerva Jane Scallions McGarrity. She retired from Pennaco Hosiery after working there for many years and was a faithful member of the Stonefield Church of God. She will be remembered as a wonderful cook and singer.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Stonefield Church of God at Cascilla with Revs. Mark Moore, Steve Bullion and Farrell Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Henson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until service time Saturday at the church.

Survivors include four daughters, Teresa Hanks of Grenada, Sandi Page(Daniel) of Jackson, Elissa Diane Hood of Flower Mound, TX and Angela Dell Smallwood(Randy McGregor) of Grenada; two brothers, Guy McGarrity of Sebastopol and Perry McGarrity of Winona; seven grandchildren, Jeremy O'Bryant, Eric Hanks, Matt Hanks, Lorelei O'Bryant, Chris King, Lee Smallwood and Eli Smallwood; eight great-grandchildren ; and a special daughter, Hung Wah Ho.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert "Bill" O'Bryant; sisters, Martha Ray Busby and Hazel Smith;brother, Wayne McGarrity and a son-in-law, Barry Hanks.
