Mrs. Margaret Elba Pace Parker, 80, of Meridian, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at the Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.  She was born November 4, 1942 in Grenada to Virgil Lafayette and Margaret Inez Martin Pace.  Margaret was a retired Registered Nurse and had worked in many capacities at the Rush Hospital.  An animal lover, she also enjoyed giving of her time in the care of rescued animals.  She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed spending time with her family at every opportunity.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the Woodlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Kevin Tribble officiating.

Survivors include two daughters, Melissa Spellmeyer of Mobile, AL and Michelle Ash of Jackson; brother, Buddy Pace of Grenada; five grandchildren, Ainsley Ash, Gavin Ash, McCall Taylor, Lawrence Spellmeyer, and Alex Spellmeyer; and two great-grandchildren, Annalise Taylor and Saxton Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Joe Parker.
